The programme

Participants train using the same equipment, workflows, and supervision structures used on real ONE Studios productions. Applicants choose a track and are selected through a competitive process.

Over four weeks, participants move from foundational orientation through technical production skills, into AI-assisted workflow and platform packaging, finishing with a supervised production sprint and a formal final assessment.

Every participant is assessed on real deliverables — reviewed by at least two assessors, one from within the VMNL ecosystem and one independent industry assessor — and leaves with a documented, individual pathway recommendation.

For a limited number of participants, the programme can lead to a paid fellowship: a supervised, funded placement inside the VMNL ecosystem. Fellowship places are competitive and are not a guaranteed outcome of completing the programme.

A hands-on training programme giving participants real production experience inside ONE Studios, across roles including cinematography, editing, audio, AI-assisted workflows, production management, and more. Delivered by AFCA in collaboration with ONE Studios.

AFCA is responsible for curriculum and instruction. ONE Studios provides the production facility, equipment, and studio supervision. Both operate under VMNL's Creative Economy Hub, with a dedicated Programme Director overseeing delivery.

The pilot cohort runs for four weeks of structured training: foundational orientation, technical production, AI-assisted workflow, and a final production sprint with assessment.

Training takes place at ONE Studios. Exact venue details and format will be confirmed when applications open.

No participant is commercially exploited through unpaid training. Registration details will be confirmed with the application form.

Yes. Training uses ONE Studios' production equipment under documented sign-out and supervision. You are responsible for equipment while it is checked out to you.

Instructors are practitioners from the Nigerian media and creator-economy industry, confirmed by AFCA, with ONE Studios' production leads overseeing delivery.

Core production equipment is provided by ONE Studios. Any participant-supplied items will be listed with the application.

Through weekly deliverables, a role-specific technical test, and a final practical reviewed by at least two assessors. You'll receive a documented pathway recommendation, not just a grade.

A limited number of participants may be offered a paid, supervised fellowship placement inside the VMNL ecosystem following the programme.
